The Grand Canyon in Arizona is a must-see destination when travelling through America. The impressive canyon was carved by the Colorado River over the last six million years, and is an astonishing site to behold. Located largely in the Grand Canyon National Park; visitors can spend days at a time enjoying the spectacular views of the Grand Canyon.

The Grand Canyon stretches over 277 miles long, with varying widths up to eighteen miles across. Although Grand Canyon is not the deepest canyon in the world; it is definitely the most impressive by its sheer size. Gorilla Safari

Uganda is home to almost half of the remaining gorillas in the world, and the Bwindi National Park and the Mgahinga National Park offer people the opportunity to look at these incredible creatures.

The national park is one of the richest ecosystems in Africa, so not only do the gorillas live there, but also hundreds of other mammal species, birds, reptiles and plants. The park is a sanctuary for chimpanzees, colobus monkeys and over 346 species of birds. The forests are humming with activity and are a site to behold in themselves.

Madagascar
