The Bwindi Impenetrable National Park lies in south-western Uganda, and is compromised of jungle forests which are only accessible by foot. The national park is one of the richest ecosystems in Africa, so not only do the gorillas live there, but also hundreds of other mammal species, birds, reptiles and plants. The park is a sanctuary for chimpanzees, colobus monkeys and over 346 species of birds. The forests are humming with activity and are a site to behold in themselves.
