Bamburgh Castle
Located in Northumberland, England its built on top of a rocky outcrop. It has served as a location in many famous movies including the very famous 1971 version of roman Polanski’s movie ‘Macbeth’. Originally owned by King Henery II in the 12th century AD the castle now belongs to descendants of an extremely wealthy industry from Victorian times.
Leeds Castle
Build over 900 years ago this castle often received Henry VIII. Within the castle walls are several mazes, a dog collar museum as well as a huge display on falconry. The castle was later purchased by Olive Wilson Filmer who bought the castle in 1926 for $873,000 by outbidding William Randolph.
Ludwig II of Bavaria, also known as Mad King Ludwig, began planning his famous in the 1860s. A century later it would inspire another visionary structure: Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle is modeled extensively on it.
Neuschwanstein Castle
Originally belonging to Ludwig II of Bavaria also known as Mad king Ludwing. This castle originally inspired Disneyland’s sleeping beauty castle which is modeled very closely to Neuschwantein castle.
